Where to party in Ibiza || Nikki Beach

When there are so many places to party in Ibiza where do you go? With the added problem that our flight was in the evening and we needed somewhere to use as a base all day.
Nikki beach delivered! We savoured our last hours (more like a whole day) at this fabulous coastal resort and they ever so kindly allowed us to store our luggage in a safe room.

The food was delivered to our exclusive VIP bed via boat, you know like you do . . .
Two huge platters arrived in two massive boat shaped serving dishes and that in itself amazed me, oh wait, this was accompanied by a sax player too.
The service was fantastic and the staff really went the extra mile to make our visit memorable.

The place has a very boho-chic laid back vibe but it can suddenly turn into a pool party within the blink of an eye! At one point the very talented sax player lay on our sunbed and entertained us with his soulful tunes. It was absolute bliss.

I wore my extra special Self Portrait deco print swimsuit which has a really elegant silk scarf tie back that drapes along your back. I love it, I think it got me print design wise!

Flower walls and pink decor - Sunset by Australasia / Manchester

It's true, all of the blogging community are flocking to floral themed cafes, restaurants and bars right now. When I have one on my doorstep in Manchester, as if I'm not going to go and be one of the cool kids!
Not only are there flower walls at Sunset by Australasia, the decor is oh so pink. It's dreamy! Along seashell light fittings and boho beach effect white washed wood, it's a lush surrounding to sit and sip a cocktail.

Manchester is having a bit of a bumpy time with it's restaurant scene at the mo, a few of my faves have shut their doors for good and a nice big clump of new ones have opened all within the Spinningfields area. The enormous department store sized Ivy has arrived and the new-ish 22 Stories is another fab rooftop hot-spot.

After a look around Harvey Nicks and Selfriedges, we walked on down to Sunset and began to work our way through a few of their delicious 'prosecco sorbet sunrisers' which are extremely refreshing in the current 5 minute long heat wave we are experiencing.

If you are shopping in Manchester, head down to 'The Avenue' for a quick cocktail break. The table next to us had the signature afternoon tea served in a Bento box which looked ridiculously amazing (and very instagrammable). There is always next time!

The best hot spots in Fira // Santorini - Travel diary

When I started looking into Santorini, the blue and white domes of Oia were the main reason for my trip. But I must admit, i completely fell in love with the town Fira instead!
We hadn't even planned to go to Fira until we got chatting to other holiday makers.
It has the same higgledy-piggledy layout as Oia but personally I thought it was much more quaint. Oia had a hint of commercialism, I completely get it, it's a massive tourist hot spot but Fira felt a bit more 'untouched'.

After wandering around (and getting lost, but that's the fun of it), we settled for drinks on one of the many cliff edge bars. This turned out to be the perfect way to spot the best restaurants for in the evening! The higher up you were, the more layers of restaurants, bars and shops you could see trailing down the coastal cliff below you.

Before I travelled to Santorini, i was told to not be scared to look behind closed doors! This sounded bazaar to me but I understand now. Entrances to the most fantastic sunset restaurants were tucked away behind doors situated on the complicated alley ways. So go for it, open the doorway onto your perfect sunset evening!

So here is my visual diary of Fira, along with two of the most fantastic bars/restaurants: Aestas bar for cocktails & La Colline Restaurant at Villa Bordeaux for a superb fine dining experience with an unforgettable sunset view.

The rounded straw tassel bag

Aestas bar
Situated facing the ocean, this place had the most amazing view and their cocktails were fantastic. We didn't realise that the little white wall opposite was a sunset viewing prime spot.
The bar is elevated a level up so you are able to watch the sunset perfectly while sipping on one of their delicious drinks.

Earlier on in the day while lost and stopping for a drink, we peered over the bar balcony and spotted the pool and restaurant tables of Villa Bordeaux
After a quick google, we realised this was an EPIC sunset dining experience not to be missed so we sauntered on down and booked ourselves a table for the evening. The waiter helped to choose the timing to get the ocean view with sunset experience spot on. The service and food were exceptional, eating a chocolate bomb dessert while the sun disappeared behind the mountains was indulgence at it's best!
Once the sun had set and our sun kissed skin felt a little chilly, the waiters came over with blankets and a very fancy fire heater on wheels (spotted just behind my menu below). Their attention to detail was superb, imagine what staying at their hotel would be like!

This is what I meant about the doors, don't be scared to open them because below is what is situated behind them . . .
