Northern Quarter X Personal Style

As soon as the new Kensington iKat clutch bag was completed it was instantly added to my wardrobe, in fact it didn't even get a chance to see the inside of my wardrobe. It was out and about straight away trotting around Manchester's Northern Quarter whilst I headed to meetings. It's constructed from shower proof cotton nylon, extremely useful as seconds after intern Emily snapped these pics the heavens opened.
I painted the blue washed iKat print in the studio, scanned it in and digitised the painting to become a really photographic and texturised print for clutch bags, phone cases and cushion covers. Inspired by boho-luxe vibes (seen here on my Urban Surfside pinterest board), carrying this clutch is like carrying a little slice of beachy art around the bustling streets of Manchester.

Life's a beach || Abersoch

Beach, sea & sand :-)
There is no better recipe.

If you follow me on snapchat and instagram you will have seen that I've been spending loads of time in Abersoch recently and of course I couldn't resist taking several hundred photographs of the beautiful surroundings.

All the clutch bags at www.riannaphillips.com are crafted from a waterproof cotton nylon which makes them the perfect beach companion. Since I set my little brand up the majority of customers who shop at the e-boutique are Australian, so it seemed completely essentials to make sure my accessories are ready to hit the beach! Being waterproof however also means that they are very British-proof too, it rains like 99% of the time here!

Soft Pop // Minimal mini lookbook

M I C R O   T R E N D   -   S O F T   P O P

So many different types of images surround me here in the studio. Professional images taken by the photographer during a lookbook photoshoot, inspirational images gathered in the build up to designing a collection, product listing images, behind the scenes snaps . . . it's never ending. Last month I took just over 600 photographs here in the studio!
When all these different styles come together it starts to become clear that micro trends accumulate across collections. Pastels will never get old, this combined with minimal hand drawn watercolour elements and bold statement evil eye motifs . . . the soft pop trend comes to life!

Upper East Eyelash Portfolio Clutch Bag

This new 'Upper East Eyelash' print is served with a side of girlyness and happyness, as Audrey Hepburn famously said 'Happy girls are the prettiest'.
As it's also a monochrome and minimal-esque style print I've decided to keep one for myself . . . all in the name of street style research of course! I love that the back of the bag offers an entirely different look, this one being a hand painted polka dot pattern which again fits seamlessly in with my minimal obsession.

So before I snap it on a day out somewhere I thought I'd share these snaps of the items cluttering up my studio. These light grey heeled pumps from H&M are waiting to be walked out to lunch and were an absolute steal at £14.99.

Rose gold items appear to be scattering themselves around the place too, shop all the items here:
