My weak spot is Dior . . . and pizza

I love shopping, I can't even slightly begin to deny it.

Having Dior on my doorstep in Manchester, Selfridges is such a treat as the brand is one I have followed for so many years. Since striking a fabulous friendship up with Suzie, the store manager; it's like popping in to see a friend every time we are in Selfridges! Suzie runs an insta account called Dior Girl Diaries, go check it out to stay in the loop with the stores new arrivals.

There is never any pressure to place an order but if you do, the event all becomes very extra special! Actually to be honest, it's special every time. Once I literally popped in to say hi and ended up have 2 glasses of champers before heading off to do a meeting!

With the bag of my dreams literally in the bag, we headed off to a fun personal shopping experience with Connie, another insta account to follow if you like to be kept in the designer know.

Many party dresses tried on, Dior bags flung about everywhere and 1 pizza later . . . . here is the day in pictures. From one Dior lover to another . . . Enjoy!

Let's play shop || Stylish fun at Self Portrait - Mayfair

When a brand you feel so passionate about opens 1 store in the country you live in, it doesn't matter exactly where it is . .  you just have to get to it. It just so happens it opened in London which is easy enough for me to travel to from Cheshire . . . hurrah!
A hop, skip and a jump onto a train and moments later here we are!

I went with a mission in mind. I was off to Ibiza and Self Portrait just so happened to have released it's debut swimwear collection. What luck!

The service was extra special and personal. We chatted the whole time to the fabulous assistants about fashion, the brand, the holiday that was ahead . . .  while sipping on rosé champers.

The store itself is a work of art, a curated gallery vibe that feels edgy and fresh while also extra cozy (as your feet sink into the homely extra thick carpeted floor in the basement!

Rianna X Style Diary - Sophia Webster 'Wifey for Lifey' butterfly heels

What to do on a rainy day in London . . . what to do on a sunny day in London . . .
Go the the Sophia Webster store in Mayfair!
I popped in for some Chiara butterfly heels which of course have the iconic 'Wifey for Lifey' phrase on the sole. From the moment we were engaged, I knew I needed these iconic bridal shoes to mark the occasion. The shopping experience was like no other.

The champagne was flowing and the staff provided the most fabulous and hilarious help. Whilst in London we were buying thank you gifts for the Bride & Groom squads; the staff at Sophia Webster got completely involved with this task, googling 'best gifts' making suggestions and recalling on their personal experiences of the best and worst gifts they themselves had received.

Like normal, I was taking thousands of photos throughout the experience and the staff encouraged me to get the best Instagram photo by lying on the boutique floor with my butterfly heels in the air against their beautiful flower wall. My husband didn't even bat an eyelid at this . . . he's used to the lengths us grammers go through to capture the perfect pic.

The decision was tricky but running along the theme of 'something blue', I went with the ice blue Chiara heels.
Shop them here.

The Sophia Webster store sits down a little road off Mount street. True to British weather, it was throwing it down with rain when we wrapped up our shoe shopping experience. To shelter from the rain and also celebrate, the staff suggested to head across the road for a glass of fizz at Delfinos. Another fabulous suggestion and well worth a visit if you are in Mayfair.

Thanks to the Sophia Webster team for making the experience a memorable one. I will be back!

The London Engagement

A trip to London is always enjoyable, but when you swing by the Sloane Square Tiffany store to choose an engagement ring it's even better :-) I'm delighted to announce I'm now engaged to my boyfriend, we've been together for nearly 10 years so it was about time.

We stayed at the Radisson in Canary Wharf which is one of our fave hotels, check out the bath tub views of the Thames and millennium dome <3 It was BEYOND dreamy.

When we had a spare half hour I got the chance to finally stop by the very beautiful Peggy Porschen cupcake shop. The pink building and delicious cupcakes supplies fashion bloggers with the perfect backdrop. As I ate my strawberry and champagne slice of heaven I indulged in a spot of people watching, we saw about 4 different groups of fashionistas drop by for a round of outfit papping.

One of our London traditions is to grab a pizza at Harrods second floor pizzeria followed up by a selection of hand picked chocolates in the food hall, yum! So that's just what we did :-)

Here are a few snaps from our trip.
