A slice of Cheshire history || Crewe Hall

I'm a history geek, through and through. Always have been, always will be.
Me and bestie Kate love hotel life, especially if there is a spa or a pool or both!
We enjoyed a last minute escape to Crewe hall which to be honest, caught me off guard. I knew it was steeped in history but had no idea it was to this extent!

After we enjoyed our delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, we had an explore around the hotel.
We noticed many other guests were doing the same, there were so many rooms, suites, function rooms, worship areas, gardens . . .
My print design senses were going wild!

There had been a wedding earlier that day, we found the white aisle carpet runner which naturally we treated as a catwalk!

It's giving . . . Liberty of London!

Hot Choc Diaries || Where to enjoy take-away macarons, cake and an autumnal walk in Stockport

Going for walks and grabbing a hot chocolate on route is my new fave (and only!) activity at present.

I'll forever remember lockdown take 2 here in the uk as the time I really upped my hot chocolate game and sampled way more then normal as it is one of the limited things we can do. All hot choc experiences are rated and stored in my #RPhotchocchallenge highlight over on insta here.

So here I am, meeting one of the besties in the park with our take away macarons, cake and of course a hot choc! With my fuzzy pastel pink faux fur and a bump that just about still fits in it.

I've admired how so many of our local businesses have transformed their model into something that works in this weird new lockdown life. One of my regular haunts is 'The Stables' take away converted horse box in Bramhall Park. They do take away macarons! Need I say more?!

Landscapes || Tatton

T E X T U R E   G A T H E R I N G  -  C H E S H I R E
October is the perfect time for an Autumn walk. So off we went, clad in full winter attire which between us all consists of Office knee high suede boots, creamy white Reiss quilted sweater, Burberry check cashmere scarf, 7 for all mankind skinny silk touch jeans, Whistles C'est Chic sweater, ASOS parka Burberry sandringham trench. Prepped and ready for any unpredicted Cheshire weather conditions, we strolled around the picturesque grounds of the private gardens occasionally catching glimpses of the neo-classical mansion. The green houses were works of architectural art in themselves and I had soon racked up over 200 photographs on my Nikon.
Tourists in our own county, dining in the gardeners cottage is an experience not to be missed.
