Shades of Spring

S h a d e s   o f   S p r i n g

With the arrival of snow drops all over the grounds of our beautiful wedding barn, it made me look back to this incredible floral shoot we did last March with am amazing team of local wedding suppliers. Beth of Wildlings and Aster filled our tables with show stopping blooms that really brightened up the post winter scenery. Our in house caterers Ridgway supplied us with their miss-matched retro crockery collection, the blue and white are obviously my absolute fave!!
Collectively we had a fab content day capturing loads of fresh and inspirational imagery.

The Bridal Bow Bag Styled Shoot

T H E   B O W   B A G   B R I D A L   S H O O T

After around 5-6 months or so of designing this dreamy, structured satin bow bag, the time has come to capture it within a bridal backdrop.

From hen party to the rehearsal dinner to the big day itself then on to honeymoon holiday date nights, this beautiful bow design will see you through all the way! The perfect size to carry your essentials, phone, lippy, make up compact and scent. This modern bride style bag also comes with an optional metallic silver chain strap if you are on the go during your hen party or busy dancing the night away on your wedding day!

It’s no secret that along with my fashion accessory brand which I have lovingly shaped since 2011, I’ve now helped create/build (website, not bricks and timber!)/run a rustic wedding venue in the charming Staffordshire Moorlands countryside. This family business journey has of course influenced my designs as I seem to now attend a wedding at least once a week!

I absolutely LOVE discussing all things wedding with our brides. From outfit to décor and on to where to honeymoon. The bow trend has evolved massively over the past 3 or so years, from a smaller micro trend, it’s now a reinvented classic that appeals massively to not only myself and day-to-day style, but to so many bride-to-be’s I meet on a regular basis.

This is for them . . . and for me! As always, every design I lovingly pour myself into is created because I WANT IT! I want to wear it, use it and LOVE IT! Forever!

My talented sister-in-law Kate of bridal hair accessory brand Little Fashion Finds, brought a squad of brilliant and artistic creatives to our wedding barn The Oaks for a styled wedding photoshoot. She brought a monochrome wedding vision to life to capture not only her own insanely beautiful creations, but every single supplier involved. Here is a mix of my own behind the scenes shots and also award-winning editorial photographer Emma Pilkingtons incredible imagery. I'm a big fan of Emma's work and she can't seem to shake me or Kate off!

Along with my new and top selling Bow Bags, I HAD to pop a few phone cases in!
