Pumpkin patches, Walled gardens and Halloween headbands - A Tatton Park Tradition

It's tradition, every year me and mum head to Tatton Park to the private gardens especially to see the pumpkin patch. This year against all odds we made it and decided as we wouldn't be having the usual family get together on the night of Halloween itself, the compromise was to wear Halloween headbands! I know, not that adventurous but it's the best we are going to get compared to the usual fancy dress party with a house full of people. It's not happening!

The weather was absolutely glorious and I grabbed us a flat white and a hot choc from the Stables take away cafĂ© before we headed in. It was so peaceful and quiet, you could almost forget what's actually happening out there over the garden walls in the big wide world.

To end, another tradition is the Gardeners Cottage. An absolute treat after your walk around the gardens. A hot scone, pot of tea and beautiful autumnal scenes out the window. Perfection!
