Where to explore in Santorini with a roof top lunch - Oia

It feels like a million years ago that we could casually nip from the uk to another country with no fear and worries about germs, temperature checks and global pandemics!
To inspire your future adventures and give those fabulous destination restaurants a shout out, take a peek at my visual travel diary and more importantly my roof top lunch time top pic recommendation with view to remember of Oia.

We also visited Fira (restaurant recommendations here) and although Oia is supposedly the hot spot of the island, I actually much preferred Fira. It felt less commercialised and although there were of course lots of tourists, there weren't quite as many thousands as there were in Oia.

Is it a trip to Santorini without a blue and white church dome?!

Where to eat with a breath taking view of Oia:
Pelekanos Restaurant

My fabulous beautician warned me before travelling to Santorini, 'don't be scared to go through doors, they lead to beautiful views!' and she was so right. All the best restaurants were behind obscure doors with tiny (hardly noticeable) menus displayed to one side. Be brave, go up the stairs behind the doors and discover wonderful views while you dine!

And back on with exploring . . . fuelled  with Rosé!

Secret garden || Lockdown editorial 02

If you follow me on instagram, you'd have seen the 2 days of fun and madness I had creating ART and dragging it around my local area in order to capture a unique one-off lockdown SS20 lookbook.
Mostly photographed in Bramhall park, the onlookers thought I was amusing, at least me and my giant cardboard piece of art kept people entertained while they ate their picnics!
The lighting was magical and the multicoloured rhododendrons supplied the most magnificent backdrop.

The moral of the story is, if you can't go ahead with your scheduled on location al-fresco cafe style blogger photoshoots due to a pandemic, have loads of fun creating something else!
