The Chic Christmas Collection 2025

With December around the corner, I've been working on all these fabulous and festive Christmassy graphics for the next newsletter.
Using photos taken back in August and a few new ones from last week, this years styling approach has been a calm and fun! I am OBSSESSED with the new granny inspired shopper tote bags, literally inspired by the shoppers my Grandma Doreen used to take to Netto!!! Shop Ethel & Edith here.

The Studio at Christmas || That's a Wrap!

Christmas in THE STUDIO

Well, the cut off point for Christmas orders has been and gone. It seems to have come and gone in a flash this year! The studio has been in full xmas wrapping swing, tissue paper everywhere, beautiful personalised accessories lined up ready to wrap and meters of black ribbon cascading down every work top! This years top sellers have been flying out:

I decided on 'disco balls and baubles' as the main studio décor vibe this year and whether it's pure fluke or I've been influenced somehow, I've been seeing them everywhere! Every shop I've visited lately has disco balls either dangling from the ceiling or on the shelves next to shoes and handbags.
I bought ours back in September and feel very 'I thought of it first' ha ha! maybe it was Pinterest that unknowingly fed me the idea?!

My first official Christmas order was placed August. A customer purchased the item via my own website and had the order (along with gift message) sent direct to their friend in LA, USA.
I had orders from 8 different countries in December!

Along with the crazy Christmas shopping period, I've been designing multiple collections for future release. 4 Collections in total! Some are ongoing. I've been adding bits and tweaking designs over at least 2 years, other collections have been a quick mad painting session that have developed quick over a short space of time and one of the collections may never see the light of day. Who knows where it will lead?!

Lots of orders have been wrapped complete with a little snowflake decoration this year, because why not! And I can't go on without mentioning the royal mail strikes. It's been a tough one for small businesses this year who rely solely on the one postage method. After publicising our last postage days, the goal posts were moved and more strikes were announced. Bringing our working days much closer to the deadline. I'd usually work right up to the day before Christmas eve but this year it was far too risky.

The Christmas festivities are not over quite yet though, I've got a cute giveaway lined up this weekend as we creep nearer to Christmas, stay tuned!

LDN - A Christmas adventure || The London hotel with the best festive vibes

Finally, after a 2 year gap, we got to London! With one extra mini human in tow then the normal festive trip, it was Arthurs very first visit to the big city. We stayed at the Bailey's Hotel as it was located near everything we wanted, meaning we didn't get the tube anywhere and walked to all of our fave Kensington/Knightsbridge hot spots. After years of tubing it everywhere, it was a refreshing change to stay above ground and nosey about at the sights we'd usually miss.

As soon as we stepped into the hotel lobby I had that Home Alone 2 Plaza hotel festive buzz! The decs were incredible. I'm all about the hotel breakfast too which did not disappoint and the staff were fab with Arthur.

I've missed sauntering around the streets of london, gazing at beautiful Kensington homes, seeing which had the best wreath and imagining what it would be like to have a town house. I could walk around all day with a hot chocolate and no clear route!

We never miss a trip to the Harrods pizzeria
