Turkey || 5 boys, 1 girl, 1 pedalo and a sea turtle

 It's impossible to summarise this holiday in one blog post but here is my attempt. I went to Turkey with 5 boys. The reactions I receive when I tell people this is very mixed but I had a fantastic time!
One of the naughty boys is my fiance so it's not that weird . . .

Turkey was a fun adventure and I'd go back in a heart beat. The food was insanely amazing at every restaurant we dined at, the scenery was breathtaking as we were surrounded by mountains and the company for me is personally what makes a holiday.

We visited Yaka Park which was situated right up in the hills. Natural ice cold spring water gathered to form a plunge pool which we all dared to jump into, I screamed my head off and did a terrible job of acting cool.
 We water rafted down a valley armed with one rubber ring and one awe per person, again surrounded by breathtaking mountainous scenery. A highlight of the trip was hiring a pedalo at the Blue Lagoon, Oludeniz Beach. A rather large turtle swam right up to our pedalo which was beyond exciting!

Print inspiration has been gathered, a relaxing and ridiculously amazing time has been enjoyed and a country has been ticked off my list.

Reasons to visit The Lake District || Gillams Tearoom

I've already mentioned that my Aunty has a fabulous B&B in The Lakes which I repeatedly love to photograph as seen here. On our way home from our last visit me and mum decided to stop off at Ulverston. It's a little oldè worldè type village with lots of history and extremely cute & independent shops. It's easy to kill a few hours wandering around the little side streets whilst calling in the antique, home-wear and clothing shops.

In need a cuppa . . . and cake of course, we stopped at Gillams tea room. We chose to sit in the flowery yard around the back of the tea-room, up a flight of stairs and situated amongst the rooftops. Drenched in flowers and greenery, it was a beautiful spot to soak up the sun.

Next time your travelling around the Lake Districts beautiful countryside, call in and try out their insanely delicious home made chocolate brownie with a cup of their own brand loose leaf tea :-)

Capsule Summer Wardrobe // Spring Summer 2017

2017 has been a pastel take over at my e-boutique.
The pastel alphabet phone cases are a particularly popular item that appears to transcend all seasons.
In preparation of my holiday I've needed a quick high street hit to accompany my accessories.

The sale at h&m has been the minimal and muted answer to my holiday capsule wardrobe. Mixed with the help of a few independent labels (that I stalk on Instagram) to boost my minimal purchases, Ethel & Mo has the most fabulous boho embroidered pieces. The Mika tassel blouse is the most well structured and beautiful item I have added to my wardrobe this year.
So here is my slightly personal summer lookbook, crafted and photographed whilst packing for my holiday to Turkey.

SS17/18 || The Tropical Edit

The tropical palm leaf print continues to be in popular demand, especially with the UK's recent heat wave. It's interesting to see though that this print sells to customers all over the world regardless of the weather, particularly in Canada, Japan, Norway, Australia and New Zealand.
Although I live in Manchester, I actually photographed the palm tree print whilst travelling around Bali. I was staying in Seminyak, although it's quite a built up area there are palm trees everywhere :-)

Here are a few pieces flying out of the studio

Rianna X Style Diary - Under the Floral Spell

I recently visited my Aunts B&B in the Lake District and was absolutely delighted to see the Wisteria that's creeping up the side of her (rather fabulous) Bed and Breakfast.

It was photographed, used as a backdrop and is now obviously being turned into a print design (available here). What better way to document the days outfit, with a beautiful lilac Wisteria encroaching into the backdrop. The setting matched my new Quay Australia Capricorn sunnies perfectly, paired with my new throw on style drawstring duffle bag from M&S. I spotted this bag on Sheer-Luxe and literally dragged my mum off on a shopping trip to hunt it down.
The top is uber comfy and combines my all time fave boho mix of blue and white, purchased from TU at Sainsburys a few weeks ago for the fabulous price of £14.

My new accessory staple which is perfect for nights over in a B&B is the Blush Pink velvet print waterproof monogram clutch, which doubles up as a wash bag and evening clutch for meals out at night.
