Rhodes // a bite size intro - The hotel, the bars, the beach clubs and the boutiques

I have a serious soft spot for Greece, I could go back again and again without a second thought.

Rhodes is packed with gorgeous destinations for family's, couples, solo travellers . . . everyone!

Travel fills my sketchbooks and camera roll with enough inspiration to last for ever, I never seem to get through every little detail picture that could trigger a new print design or accessory! I've visited Rhodes a few times and am finally getting round to sharing more beach bars and hot spots. See the first post here:https://rianna-studio.blogspot.com/2023/04/the-best-bay-in-rhodes-lindos-where-to.html

So here is my second little Rhodes round up, a quick bite sized intro for those looking to book a holiday and want reliable recommendations. Let me do the leg work for you . . . .

Rhodes town centre and old town

Boat stalls - Well worth a visit if you are obsessed with stacking up cute beaded holiday bracelets. Located in Rhodes Marina, there is a row of these floating shops ready to explore

La Veranda
You may walk past this restaurant and not realise, located in the main old town centre square, La Veranda not only serve delicious food but supply amazing views of Rhodes

St.Pauls Luxury Beach

On quite an overcast day, we decided to head to to St Pauls bay in Lindos. With the weather not being great, we had the whole place nearly to ourselves. It was heaven! A glass of rosé wine in one hand, one very happy toddler exploring the sand, digging holes and making dens in between sun loungers, this secluded and very private beach is a wonderful beauty spot.

Feels luxury and also extremely family friendly. The swim up rooms are particularly gorgeous. With loads of restaurants to choose from and a lovely little coffee bar (I did get a few hot chocolates with a shot of caramel!!) this hotel is situated right on the beach . . . heaven!

Gennadi - The village local to the hotel

It is a taxi ride but worth exploring this little village. Small but packed with bars, restaurants and boutiques.

Tucked away in a little side road, by night loads of dining tables appear on the street itself. An authentic and charming experience

Another little hidden gem, even though our hotel was all inclusive, we couldn't help but dine out twice here. The food was home made and delicious. All beer and wine glasses were delivered to your table straight from a cooler, such a great refreshing detail.
Diners from all around the world gathered to eat here and Arthur made friends with a little beautiful surfing Swedish girl who's outfit was effortlessly stylish and beach ready! He also loved the little cat that kept coming back to see him (to the hilarious restaurant owners dismay!)

So good . . . we went back!
