SS16 Urban Surfside || The Lookbook

SS16   U R B A N   S U R F S I D E

I teamed up with Art Direction MA student Anže Ermenc to create the SS16 lookbook 'Urban Surfside'. The collection brings together iconic motif prints such as the 'evil eye' logo which I hand painted in the studio along with texturised type seen in the Mayfair Coconut print. I've been massively inspired by 'Upper East Side' interior-luxe trends that are emerging via home décor blogs and this has really filtered through to the new range of cushion covers available at the e-boutique and Etsy store. Amalgamated within the interior themes are beachy boho indigo's, seaside pastels and of course . . . minimal marble.

Inspiration || ADEAM AW16

Pleats, folds, layering . . . what more could you ask for? Brand designer Hanako Maeda says the collection was inspired by Japanese arts and crafts. I'm obsessed with the soft colour palette and relaxed styling

London Fashion Weekend || perspex heels, prosecco & pop ups

Me and fashion savvy Kate Millar popped along to experience London Fashion Weekend at the Saatchi gallery last month. Life being what it is has meant I've only just got round to checking out the millions of snaps we took.

Before heading into the exhibition we dined at Manicomio which is situated in 'Duke of York Square', a bustling little area that I'll certainly be heading back to.

The Saatchi halls were converted to pop up stores, a mix of well known fashion brands and emerging labels were available to buy and many fashionistas were traipsing around with huge London Fashion Weekend shopping bags. I loved the selection by JS Lee, the grey coat below particularly caught my eye, and I also really enjoyed looking around eclectic Swiss based fashion brand The Backyard.

We headed to the May Fair Kitchen afterwards for the official LFW afternoon tea, there were big boots to fill after our insanely amazing Berkeley hotel Prêt-à-Portea last year!
